In honor of July 4th we’re bringing you a little color inspiration.
RED INSPIRATION to be exact.
My friend Elizabeth loves Color.
Color and Pattern. And there’s not a Color-Shy bone in her body!!!
Just look at this beautiful, colorful kitchen!
She bravely went where few have gone before and painted her white kitchen cabinets a gorgeous, glossy, red.
Notice the red is just a focal wall of cabinets.
There’s still a healthy dose of white on an opposing wall of cabinets.
Her large wraparound island is painted a vibrant green.
With her beautiful brick floor, soft butter walls, black accents and plenty of pattern she’s created a wonderfully fun place where her family and friends can gather.

The red cabinets make this such a fun kitchen! I really like the accessories and lighting choices Elizabeth used. So, so pretty!
Love love love! I am so in awe of people that are brave enough to do something like this! These are all of my favorite colors…she used them so well in this wondeful kitchen! All of the accessories and window treatments are beautiful!
I am trying to work up enough courage to paint my island and my stove hood a fun color…I am not brave at all…I am a chicken;)! This has been an inspiration…maybe I will take the plunge!
Happy 4th!

Wow! And I thought I was gutsy! She waayyyyyy outdoes me! What a gorgeous shade of red! The room is fabulous!
Wow. That is really red. I love the green and red combo. Works well in that room.
THAT IS FABULOUS! There is just so much to look at! You need to have the right personality for that much fun color. I personally really love it. It works. She’s mixed the colors in the kitchen in the right amount. That beats an ordinary kitchen any day! Kudos to her!

This is one gorgeous kitchen…please relay our kudos to your talented friend!!!
You have just inspired me to embrace my “inner red!” I love the color RED! I recently bought a set of 6 mis-matched old wooden chairs at a garage sale and had planned to repaint them in a “safe” color – white. Now they are going to wear a coat of the most brilliant red I can find! They’re going around an old table (another yard sale deal) on my back porch. I feel life bursting in that space even as I write this! Thank you for setting me free! LOL! I love it!
Oh my!!! I want to see more of this house!!! so cool!
Bold statement here, but amazing I truly love it!
So pretty! I’d love to do this to my kitchen but I’m too scared too. It truly is gorgeous!
