The time has come for a master bathroom update here at the Hamilton House. Which means it’s time to say goodbye to these Beyond the Screen Door favorites.
This little cafe curtain and valance combination has served me well but I’m ready for a change and they’re ready to find new home.
In the almost four years that I have been blogging I’ve had more inquiries for this cafe curtain and fabric than any other curtain I’ve ever featured.
The main floral fabric, which I’ve long forgotten the name, was discontinued shortly after I originally shared this curtain. Which has led to many sad emails since then.
So many readers who have been interested in this pair of curtains. It’s so sad to know that such a popular fabric has been discontinued.
Shown on a 47″ wide x 59″ high window with valance mounted 9″ above the window.
Cafe Curtain Details
2 panels – 52″ wide x 37.5″ long each includes a 7″ contrasting cuff
12 Fleur de Lis black clip rings included
Lined with ivory blackout lining with red toile accent along upper edge
Valance Details
Valance is mounted on a 1″x3″ board – actual depth 2.5″
50.25″ wide x 20.5″ long including fringe at lowest point
Lined with ivory blackout lining
Installation
The valance was installed using 2 @ 2″ – 2.5″ L-brackets. This style of cafe curtain can be installed using inside mount brackets (as shown) or outside mount brackets.
Even though this fabric has been discontinued this style of curtain can easily be duplicated in almost any color scheme. Similar black & tan checks as well as red toile fabrics are still available.
